One of the hidden benefits of being a parent is every Jan/ Feb, my son brings home a stomach virus from school, which he inevitably shares with me and kickstarts the journey to my summer body. 🥰

I had a similar issue except it’s that I’m a greedy fuck and ate so much near Christmas that Iiterally made myself sick and I’ve only felt like nibbling little things since.
I should not have laughed at this, but it’s true.
I just know this child of mine is going to come home sick some time within the next month. I simply accept my fate & try to be grateful for the silver lining.
