I'm not on Medicaid, but I'm doing the same. It's one more hard-won privilege we fought for & won decades ago. The loss of Medicaid will be disastrous. This is the GOP plan. We need to clog up the phone lines at their offices with our calls!

Feeding tube haver here, there’s a fb group called g-pact where people send excess feeding tube medical supplies and only request a reimbursement for shipping. It’s helped me during insurance lapses

I got on the phone early this morning and if everything goes as promised she should get an emergency supply of formula by Monday, which is the day she runs out. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your concern and offer of help.

Mo Medicaid changed vendors a few weeks ago & the new vendor is suddenly swamped with new customers. My daughter’s status with them is still pending. Cynically I think our republican official planned it this way. First we are left without a functioning delivery system and then this.

I’ll try again tomorrow & see if we get anywhere. If not I’ll reach out to you. She uses Kate Farm Peptide 1.5 as she is allergic to all dairy formulas & is not absorbing the regular Kate Farm like she used to. I just really need to know we have a reliable system. I’m weary of constant battles.

I have a little more information. The federal web portal Payment Management Systems that allows state Medicaid agencies (along with groups like Head Start and community health organizations) to access Federal funding was down. I’ve got a new login problem with the portal now. I’ve been told that it appears that my daughter’s SS# has been flagged as compromised & I’ve been referred to LexusNexus. When I called the phone number there,

they told me that the issue with SS#s in my state being flagged for login is big enough that they have a dedicated team working on it and a separate phone number. Now I have a case number and someone is supposed to call me back in 24/48 hours. I have no idea what is behind this issue.

I’m not sure what it’s about. Either MO has something messed up or something is messed up on the national level. I was told there were a large number of people affected, hence the dedicated team on LexisNexis. I’m still waiting to hear from someone on our case.

I tried a login was on Thurs with someone from Medicaid on the phone line while I did it. When it didin’t work she told me someone would contact me on Monday.
When I didn’t hear back I called on Tuesday, was bounced around for 2.5 hours & that was when I learned that a new wrinkle was the SS# flag.
