Say what you will about the Harfoot story line being disconnected or whatever, you’d be hard pressed to find a bit of S1 that feels more like home. I love their inclusion so so much.

Actually I think what I love most about the Harfoots is the way it centers the viewer in middle-earth. Almost all the stories are seen through the eyes of Hobbits and so it just feels *right* for these creatures who are closest to *us* to be present.

There’s a LOT in TRoP that makes it feel like Middle-earth, but the way the languages of Tolkien are so woven into the fabric of the show, the characters? That’s the part that makes the world the most believable to me. I love it so so SO much.

Yeah, they really stepped it up in Season 2. It was immediately noticeable how much more comfortable they were with using Tolkien’s languages for the show and honestly bless them for that
