One thing to keep in mind for the next 4 years is that the people *doing something about it* often won't be able to talk about it.
Sometimes this is for security reasons, but also simply because *we don't have time* to talk about community defense / mutual aid filing up our nights and weekends.

1. Online activity is *not* necessarily an indicator of contribution / commitment. Sometimes our movement contributions are very online- education, news aggregation, intel, comms, and fundraising all come to mind.
Our comms volunteer @distributeaid.org is doing their best to keep up with announcements *on top of* of all the other work.
Most folks don't even have a "comms volunteer".
But never neg someone just because they are not able to talk about what they're doing on here. We simply don't know!
This trust-by-default approach also encourages folks to be doing something!
I'd like to stay as informed and "in the loop" as possible.
US Aid is shutting down? Let's discuss how that impacts the Levant with Anera.
FEMA is hit with layoffs? Time to talk to mutual aid groups and US logistics companies.
Help shine a light on practitioner efforts, and be mindful that good PR doesn't necessarily equal good impact.
All of that support lets me focus on *doing* what I do!
