I’m 63…the first time I ever watched it was last Christmas. I was not impressed. Frankly, it’s more of a GenX movie than a boomer movie. It came out in 1983 and all boomers were adults by then.
I claimed it's a Boomer movie, because this harkens back to their childhood Christmas experiences, not because of the release date. A GenX version of this would be about begging Santa for a NES system, watching Charlie Brown and Frosty on the TV, and Scutt Farkus dressing as a punk
