P37 or P47 phoshpor? I can never remember, but it's my favourite too. The ACT Sirius 1 (or Victor 9000 to you), Tandy SX1000 and Compaq Portable that I have all use it.

I'm not sure what type of phosphor. There is nothing on the label to indicate and Google turned up nothing for the part number.

there are many types of phosphors used in CRTs, including multiple green phosphors with different decay (fade from bright to dark) times. the ones you saw in the 80s would likely have been medium to short persistence phosphors, while this one uses a long persistence phosphor. hope this helps :3

I always thought the early Sierra games looked fantastic in green and black mono - the fade was really apparent when there was movement on the screen but I loved it.
