Steam Deck - Bought one of these at the start of the year. Holy shit what a device. If you told me I'd be playing Hamsterball, Sonic Heroes, and all my favorite GBA games on the same handheld back in 2005, I would have been in awe.

Patrick's Paradox - A cute little puzzle game, really fun mechanics. Sokoban but with paradoxes, warping, and non-Euclidean spaces.

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore - Turns out that if you fix everything that was wrong with the CD-i Zelda games, it becomes a fun little Metroidvania. Feels more like a love letter to CD-ROM games in general, which I'm happy about.

KinitoPET - I saw Vinny play a bit of this and knew I had to get it. Honestly, pretty good use of desktop fuckery, but there's not too much else in this beyond that. I appreciate the lack of cheap jumpscares.

Balan Wonderworld - Okay, genuinely not that bad. There was a lot of potential for a great game here, but Yuji Naka's mismanagement resulted in a lot of that potential being squandered. It's fine, not great, and that's all I have to say on the matter.

Polybius - Jeff Minter was brave naming this game the way he did, considering his close relationship with Atari. But it's a genuinely fun time, much better than a lot of the other attempts at a playable Polybius.
