To equate organizing with certain kinds of physical movement is to devalue disability and d/Disabled people's contributions. Just because I am sometimes physically unable to get out of bed or leave the house doesn't make me a "passive consumer."

I would argue that sick & disabled folks have used social media to organize and mobilize. Some of us can’t protest in the streets or meet in person but we made a difference
