Excited about this but the contributors list is heavy on the legal. I hope that it expands to include political theorists and historians and sociologists and some indigenous thought, maybe even local news people. I'd hate to see it concentrate on reaction without any creativity.

A contrarian is usually considered cranky & fickle. If this publication is going to be assertive and aggressive in it's reporting and analysis in defense of US liberal democracy, surely there's a better name.

If this publication is going to be ruthless and fearless in it's muckraking and framing (that is, rejecting the RW frame and rhetoric), "Contrarian" isn't the right term.

Sadly, "Counter Punch" is already taken.

But, "The Clarion" feels really strong --a call to action.
