If the current CR passes the Senate, as I see it they will all just be fired again, I want to be wrong. But the current CR, gives DOGE additional powers and if passed in a bipartisan way, they will have bipartisan approval when they do it this time. I want to be wrong, but I think I’m right, sigh.

It’s a temporary reprieve but far from a “win”. These public servants now have no expectation of anything resembling job security. Many will not return or will find more secure jobs elsewhere. I don’t blame them. The damage Trump caused will not be undone with a court order.

This is exactly what I was wondering. It seems to me that this administration wants to politicize the judiciary and consider some judges as legitimate and others as illegitimate. At best we will have a constitutional crisis on our hands.

I’m surprised he hasn’t been talking about adding more conservative justices to stack the courts. Too bad Democrats didn’t have a spine. Biden should have fought harder to add 4 more justices so our Supreme Court has 13 justices matching our appellate districts. It is hard watching all of this.
