I’m not sure what you looked at but the murder for hire was never proved in court and was a separate case in Maryland, I believe, which was later dropped after the DEA & SS officers investigating him went to jail.

The government witnesses in Ross’ trial also straight up lied plus the prosecution recommended a 20 year sentence but the judge overstepped and gave him two life sentences.

It’s unfortunate it took someone horrible like Trump to do it but it was the correct outcome.

Ulbricht is a weird libertarian guy who thought creating an online drug market was a good idea to reduce violence and adulteration at the point of sale for black market goods (mostly drugs). Treating him like El Chapo Guzman, and giving him life in prison wasn't right.
