I'm not going to advocate for anyone to shop from Amazon. Just saying that we should be clear about what the union is and isn't asking for, in terms of solidarity

Capital is willing to lose money to keep a stranglehold on *capital*. If Christmas business is slow but manageable, they'll take it.

When we are on strike at the railroad, we want the customers to be customers. Those goods begin to pile up. The cost of clearing it after the strike increases. It will take overtime, extra personal and can be a logistical nightmare. Those costs are a bargaining chip that the company has to weigh.
