I literally don't know how many times I've heard "But if you can prove you're a citizen, how can they deport you?"
When the guys who would say "tell it to a judge!" won't let you talk to a judge, then you can't prove anything.

What this means is that he will be deporting people to die. People who are seeking asylum from death or credible threat will die. Us citizens will be deported to die because they *will be caught up in this and deported without a hearing*

Even if you can prove you're a citizen - They. Don't. Care.
We simply need to start viewing these people correctly. They are - without question - the enemy.
Tell it to a judge.
Not only does the Constitution and its its rights and protections apply to criminals and to every class of immigrants, they MUST do so, or they aren't worth anything.
That's not rhetoric, or an ideal.
It's cause and effect.
Oh, you're not part of the excluded class? Once they say you are, you have no right to make your case. No case to make.
But on a practical level:
Yes, they can do it to you.
Well they can just declare that a forgery.
Or, if they get their way on birthright citizenship YOUR citizenship depends on your parents citizenship, which depends on THEIR parents citizenship, which depends on...etc.
There are 128M Mexicans.
There are 31 Mexican states plus Mexico City which is mostly treated as a 32nd state.
If USA & Mexico merged, what %age of the 128M do they think would vote MAGA?
I have similar questions about the 40M Canadians & their 13 provinces & territories.
Random person: "How many days to see a judge?"
ICE:.Waaaay more than the time it takes to deport you lol.
ICE: "Sure, but you don't got a right to be here when that day comes"
