And it is not an exaggeration to say people die of complications resulting from this injury; the loss of mobility, infected wounds from prolonged use of inferior substitutes, stress and lost time and resources spent fighting to be made whole... it all adds up, and it all takes away.

I need abled people to understand that breaking someone's wheelchair is like breaking your legs. Both of them. They want to get away with breaking people's legs.
