under different circumstances, he would've been relieved. but right now, he was just annoyed at himself for not playing his part well enough. the seraph exhaled once.

someone who took other people's comfort levels into consideration. that was enough to make nathaniel relax, somewhat.

though, he would probably still get flustered, if xianshen flirted with him out of the blue. but he wouldn't feel threatened, or uncomfortable.

he was definitely not ready . . . but will he ever be ready ? it's already been centuries since the man he fell in love with passed away. nathaniel tracked his son down for a while, but then lost sight of him and his bloodline.
