2/2 turning Maelon to ice and releasing Dwynwen from her love. She was then granted three wishes:

- Maelon is unfrozen;
- Through her, the dreams of true lovers are fulfilled;
- She would not marry.

Dwynwen then went to live on Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey in Wales and devoted her life to God.
