The Republican Party, since Reagan, backed by the Koch brothers, Murdoch, Sinclair, has been working towards this for decades. Consolidating media markets. Indoctrinating listeners and lying to them. Demonizing Democrats and government. And so on and so on. And Democrats just let it happen.
