everything is built locally as written in the FAQ (https://8bitworkshop.com/docs/docs/faq.html#what-is-this) and when looking at the network requests sent in my browser's dev tools

always kinda wanted to do something like this for retro consoles tbh. like combining vscode-web, codetainer, retroarch, and sgdk. i might take a crack at it someday
