Honestly, I feel like some of the Faile haters pile on to her because of the fact that a lot of storyline with her is through "The Slog". I mean, I read it when it was the slog of waiting years between books and I've always liked her, but there's an association between the two to me.

I was never crazy about Faile, but I did think that as the series went on she got better, even before Brandon took over. I do think Brandon's books do Faile more justice than Jordan's, but I think that Faile in WH and KoD is a lot better. Plus I think a lot of the Faile hate is unfair
