The progressive's have nothing to apologize for. The moderates have brought on this day. When Harris was doing well was when she thought outside the box. Progressive polices are popular, Democrats need new leadership unwilling to bend or compromise, the time to fight is now.

The only over the top policies are taxing unrealized gains and gun bans. That's about it.

There are better ways of dealing with the wealthy hiding income, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to ban guns about now.

I've asked around. It boils down to racism. Prettied up and polished, but still racism.

People were mad about a pretend version of DEI. (A version that only existed in a couple of extreme fringe cases)

People were mad about housing and food costs and inflation. Rightfully so, democrats plain fucked up by leaning hard on "It's not so bad." instead of just saying, "Yes, it absolutely sucks harder than your mom. This is what we are doing about it."
