Calm down people… Trump’s hyperbole is just that…hyperbole. It is ridiculous to think he would attack Canada militarily. Trump always says crazy shit to get attention. He probably doesn’t even remember what he said 5 minutes ago. Chill.

Fuckoff idiot. If you bothered to read the dozens of posts I have made supporting Canada you would know I am not condoning or brushing off anything Trump has done but it’s idiots like you who shoot their mouths off before taking the time to understand the situation that give social media a bad name
Nope. Not hyperbole…the threat is very real, for Canada and the US. The citizens of both countries are going to suffer because of the trade war…and where will that lead? Hard to tell.
Not hyberbole. Even if that were true, it would still be insulting, degrading and disrespectful. 'Trump always says crazy shit'? Why isn't he being held accountable for it? We should all be on edge and take him seriously.
Doesn't matter. He tests the waters with this shit. I've seen far to many people on LinkedIn LOVE the idea of taking over Canada forcibly and think Canada could do nothing about it.
Linkedin has to be one of the larger sources for right leaning views that isn't the usual suspects (twitter, TS, threads, Facebook, etc...). Even from alleged Canadian based economic people. Considering how many American business owners have bent the knee, maybe it's not surprising.
I'm pretty sure you're coming from a good place, but treating it in the manner that you are is one of the reasons why we're in this position in the first place. We're past the point of treating his ramblings as a joke
It's not ridiculous at all. It's exactly what he would do if he thought it would work.
Which is why we need to take it seriously and take steps to prepare. So that he doesn't fool himself into thinking it could work. Deterance is the best and cheapest form of security.
I hope you understand that half of what Trump says is intended to strengthen his negotiating position whether true or not. I honestly don’t believe he has any intention of invading Canada. He is intent on winning the Tariff war which he created. I case you didn’t know, I support Canada on this.
I appreciate your support, but I think you have this reversed. Tariffs are being used as a media talking point to justify annexation. His rhetoric is that Canada is a failed state propped up by US subsidies from trade deficits and everyone will be better off once our sovereignty is extinguished.
It is truly hard to analyze what a demented amoral low IQ person like Trump really intends to do. I can only speak as an American who can not imagine such a thing happening. The fellow citizens I know would never support this.
To be fair, this is not being fully covered anywhere but in the Canadian press. He reverts to this topic several times a week, if not every day, and he has said, repeatedly:
-Canadians would better off as a 51st state
-Canada isn't viable/"doesn't work" as a country
-This is "necessary"
1/
-The US "subsidises" Canada
-There is a movement within Canada supportive of joining the US (untrue -- 90% of Canadians will not countenance it, but reminiscent of Russian arguments about Russian-speaking parts of Ukraine -- I smell a trumped-up referendum as in Crimea)
It should never have happened. He's repeated it, and then used tariffs to renege on trade promises he signed into law and damage Canada without provocation. He should resign or be removed for the damage he's caused, this isn't something to "chill" about. Canada deserves better, and so do we.
I agree all of this shit Trump is doing is unwarranted. Canada does deserve better and I support Canada 100% in these tariff wars. My point which seems to have been lost on some is I don’t think Trump would ever invade Canada. The American people would not stand for it.

Dickheads saying it's just Trumps ramblings are worse that rabid maggots
It's a bit presumptuous of you to expect people to read your previous post, especially if your not clear or interesting enough.
Im sure your parents will be most impressed by your wit and manners.
