It's a scandal. We had such high hopes for this. It could be fixed by a determined govt but Labor should have got this right when they had the chance.
Dutton had a big hand in it but shouldnt have been pandered to. 😡

This may be a little conspiratorial, but I think they have these long running investigations in order to make people think the wheels of justice are turning and “something will be done” at the start and then churn out a nothing report when they think people have lost interest or hope in the matter.

The major parties thought we could be bought off with a second rate NACC.

Their failure was to give it to a Commissioner who has neither the ability or guts to actually pursue corruption. Much easier to never find any.
