VLM volunteers planted 1050 native tree saplings to create a future woodland & food resources for wildlife in decline. Joining us were Polly Foreman from PBN, Dr Carys Bennett from PETA & Cleve West, award winning Veganic garden designer.
Volunteers undertook species surveys on 4 of the VLM plots removed from dairy farming to see how the land was rewilding. Plot 1 had also moved to the next level of rewilding the breeding of mammals and birds.

In July the VLM was successful on the purchase of #DairyLandbuyout5 β removing another 6 acres from animal slavery & further destruction of the environment. Thank you to all who donated to help win this land & save & protect endangered species.
On 28th September the VLM supported #RestoreNatureNow outside DEFRA in London following the publication of the shocking State of Nature report the day before, stating that nearly 1 in 6 species are threatened with extinction in UK.
