Good news, everyone! Covid is definitely over, because my local supermarket has removed their checkout screens… just in time… for the next… wave… 😳

I have read that the checkout screens make things worse by inhibiting airflow without actually providing any protection. So, on balance, maybe a good thing 🤷♂️

They were probably ineffective, but it’s a strong sign that people should ignore any precautions.
