And have executives show up at gov hearings, or NYE parties, have talent (current and historical) be part of the grift ecosystem with no push back from the company etc. They’re just not as open and public facing as UFC is, yet.

Oh, listen, I'm no fan of wwe. By any means. I think largely as a corporation they're kind of despicable. Their actions speak louder than words.
I'm just simply saying, in regards to Sami's comment, but yeah it's not surprising they don't want to offend anybody because that's going to cost them $$
The sad reality is, Triple H showing up at a government hearing and sitting behind Linda mcmahon, isn't on most wrestling fans radar. The Saudi Arabia shows? People can bitch and complain, and rightly so, but clearly they don't seem to be an issue. If they were they wouldn't be still doing them.
There is no outrage about the Saudi shows or anything else nefarious WWE does because everyone has been completely focused on condemning AEW for doing a show in Australia and all the secret evil stuff they are doing.
They've done all of these things, and simply been rewarded, with more money, more viewers, and more eyes than ever. Now with a Netflix deal. Until people give them an actual reason to change their business practices they're not going to. That's just business.
I'm not telling anybody not to complain, not to voice their displeasure, and not to go out and try to make change. Quite the opposite. I'm just also trying to be very realistic about what's happening here and the reasons why they're doing the things they're doing. Which, as always = $$$
