🤬 I will never understand people who think like this. Required to out the kid to a potentially dangerous adult but forbidden to provide support for said kid. I hope all teachers make an announcement up front informing kids that, sadly, their teacher is legally forbidden to be a safe person to go to.

This is especially troubling because about 1 in 4 high school students see themselves as LGBTQI. So I can’t help 1/4 of my students even find help, even though they are four times more likely to attempt suicide.

Taking over school boards and other local government institutions has been the Evangelical Right's long-term playbook.

While the rest of us were arguing with each other or deciding the fight was won, these fuckers have been lockstepping their way into control for over 40 years.
