If true, the problem with this is humans will then ALWAYS be cursed. They will struggle in the dirt. Rise up for a while. Then destroy themselves utterly & struggle in the dirt again.

Where we went wrong was in not going through with Abraham Lincoln’s plans on uniting the country following the Civil War due to his assassination & then ending Reconstruction. That’s why we never healed our long held divisions from the Civil War.

Yep... Men never really think about those things, which makes me think we don't REALLY want to struggle, but if there's not an obvious enemy to distract, we might start asking questions about justice and equity and sustainability which aren't conducive to global consumerism

Yes basically a population that has no war to focus on goes to war against itself. Sad as I dont believe this is an inevitability across the human experience. In the American case, I believe only a portion of it arose "authentically" with alot of bad faith rightwing media social engineering to blame
