Over the past 5 years, a LOT has changed when it comes to TTOS. Whether it be the way we film it, the cast we have, the music we use, etc. This means that a lot of episodes aren't quite up to scuff with one another!

Following the release of the 2023 Christmas special, we cracked a lot of jokes between one another on the team, the idea of remastering some of the older portions of the series, to make it look closer to what we want the series to feel like... and finally, we decided to do it.

"Season 1a Definitive Edition: Deluxe" is our way of producing what is the final, completely confirmed version of what we think the first portion of Season 1 is. Stories solidified, no more information to retcon, this is DEFINITIVELY what happened.

With new information to be processed, and new styles to be adapted, we took it upon ourselves to completely rewrite and retell the first 2 episodes, as well as greatly touch up the third. What does this mean? Well...

...This means the first 3 episodes have been entirely refilmed, re-edited, rewritten, rescored, and remastered. We've also completely remastered Insightful Examination 1, as well as rescored and re-edited the SFX for Episode 4, 5, and Insightful Examination 2

Of course, that is not all. There is more content to be expected. 6 brand new shorts have been written by some folks on the team to fill in the gaps between episodes, as well as an extended opening segment to establish our cast. We've also FINALLY adapted some of the bloopers from our archives!
