I have a copy. We did a test: we took 3 computers and put BeOS on one, Mandrake Linux on another, and Windows 98 on the third. Gave the three to unsophisticated users and they all liked BeOS the best.
BeOS was very advanced and could run 8 streaming videos at one time back in '88 .
Oh it was very powerful. I remember when they would send out bootable CDs that you could put into a PowerPC Mac and boot into BeOS. I thought that was pretty cool.
I could handle (I forgot which one, what ever was larger) one Petabyte/ettabyte of files. I also had BeOS GO which was the equivalent of Office. It was virtually crashproof.
With either Linux or BeOS we could take a bare computer, install the OS and be online with people in 15 minutes.
We timed it.

He was a hero.
I still remember a pic of him with his dog.
The other hero was that Linus guy that developed Linux.
