I dont get it either. When I first got into this game last year I started to mess with gposing on console because thats all I have and when I asked for tips people were rude AF on twt. Touching grass is not enough for some ppl. Goodness.

to be fair I always share how I do my stuff, its so simple anyone can do it so I dont mind teaching them how do I do it.

at times I do learn something new with them because of the diferent perspective

Honestly, I wish more would be open to sharing such things. From my look on it, it either saves time for people or even assists/encourages them into learning something new. I love seeing people trying to learn new things, and gatekeeping often just pushes them away from it.

Likewise. Often makes my day when someone is interested in something I did and wants to learn. You're right though that it's ego. I just hope more and more shift to being open to sharing as time passes.
