Two of the 3 scurried away instantly into the succulent ground cover (sea fig)that carpets the cliffs. Now I know where they hide. So I'll assume whenever I look at sea fig in the early summer that it contains at least a few fuzzy babies 😄

I had just commented last week that it's odd I've never seen baby gulls or terns or shorebirds. And baby gulls appear!

Now I need to comment about never seeing baby penguins or baby puffins...🤔
