I promise Silksong is real, i playtested it for 30 mins at an event I’m sure team cherry are working a lot and it’s hard to release a 2nd indie game when your first one did so well it will come 😭💗

I do have faith, but I wish they would keep us updated more 😭 hell, if they said they needed money I'm sure they could have a successful crowdfunding event or smth 🥺
They have been keeping very quiet I think it’s because they didn’t expect hollow knight to blow up as it did as the game started off as a game jam project so they are just trying to keep quiet so when it’s released it’s full fledged and out there 😭
Yeah on one hand I get it, but atp it's one of the most anticipated indie games so I think they should re-think their strategy 😅 I'm sure we can all agree that we don't want a rushed game, just a few more updates is all I'm asking 😭
yeah, exactly this 😭 i know they're not lying or trying to scam ppl, but it really would be reassuring to hear just a little more than "still working on it" every year or two... it's hard to not worry that they may have lost their way in dev without any info
I don't care how long it takes but keeping quiet about it makes things way harder, even small updates would make things better because by staying quiet, you're enabling doomers to complain and complain.
I think it's safe to say they don't need money, Hollow Knight sold really well and they don't have many employees to pay.
Might be the opposite though: Hollow Knight released early because they ran out of money, so maybe they want to make sure their game is done now that they don't have to rush.

It's scary to make a sequel when the first game was so damn popular & beloved
