This is a good reminder. One ex told me that he got anxiety when i texted cause I did so freely and it got annoying for him. After that I pulled back on texting anyone and realized how I was always the one to connect and it's been a battle to not accept his perception of me isnt everyone elses.
Blessed to be able to say I had this way worse when I was a teenager! Of course its still there but only like 10% where as a teen it was 75% of the time π€
Yes! So true. Reminds me of a little blog piece I've just written about embracing our own unique 'spiky profiles' - which relates to this. Have a read, if you would π
Thank you for this! I've been pushing my boundaries and coaxing myself to be more outgoing and interact with others, as I've lived so much of my life holding back because 'what if I'm annoying?' and tbh, so what if I am? But it's still there in the back of my mind that people won't like me π
I legitimately didn't know this and it explains a lot. I know i have trauma surrounding it that i've been working on, but i wasn't aware it was so common.
THANK YOU. I literally feel like I talk too much or I'm too overly hyperactive for people to handle then I feel the absolute unnecessary need to explain I have adhd and bipolar π
