Up until last night I was going to be the only person of color competing at my state pageant… not just the only black person but only poc at all… and now there’s two of us which is nice but also wtf man

Oh there’s a lot of poc, but they don’t seem to crown many of us to advance to the next pageant. Like no there’s not a ton of us who compete but also if they don’t crown poc why would I want to compete? So I get it
