Of course, who’s to say that, like Putin, XLVII won’t resort to eliminating his main opponents? I have no doubt he and his stooges are capable of that and worse.
That's the gist, I think. I had already been using the word "corrupt" when talking about this regime. I'll make a point to do so more, and drawing attention to it wherever I can, as well as to the failures of government to function. Such as sharing news yesterday that there may be not flu vaccine
next year because the FDA just cancelled the meeting where they start selecting strains for this fall's shots. Trying to always make the connection between government actions and the effects as we will feel them.
