#MWE 11: Liquid Swords by GZA. Another classic I hadn't got around to, and can easily see why it's so respected. This is top-tier all around, especially the beats - some of the most captivating I've ever heard, even on first listen.

#MWE 13: Regulate... G Funk Era by Warren G. Everyone knows the title track, but the album as a whole has aged really nicely. Warren G isn't the most technically gifted rapper, but his flows work so well for the beats that it doesn't really matter.

#MWE 14: Like a Ribbon by John Glacier. I appreciate what Glacier's trying to do, but on first listen it doesn't hold me - her vocals are (intentionally) too monotone. There's some interesting ideas here though, so I might give it more time.

#MWE 15: Raw Like Sushi by Nemeh Cherry. There's so much going on here, and a lot of it works - albeit in a very 80's way - though it's a bit too eclectic to come together on first listen. And some parts (like The Next Generation) are a bit too earnest for me.
