It’s a horrid reminder that everything has long lasting effects. It’s also a horrid reminder that people probably believe that the 2020 election should’ve had a different outcome. Who knows how long the skepticism will last.
It is going to be a very long 4 years. We are only coming up to the 2 month mark of this nightmare. Something better start changing in the next round of elections.
I agree. I feel both pity and anger toward those who don’t get it. Most of those people will suffer horribly because they voted on ignorance.
I myself am conflicted. I cannot possibly blame ignorant folk for the things they believe in. But I also cannot set aside how their ignorance hurts people.
My thought is it is more "if it doesn't affect me, then I don't care" mentality. My step mother is like that. It is all about her. Never thinking how decisions affect everybody else. Drives me crazy.
Ahhh I see that. I had people in my life like that and promptly cut them out. I suppose I'm not very tolerant. Though I try to be and even often am to my own detriment.
