Yeah they are tricky to differentiate, I have rock and meadow throughout the year locally...apparently there is a water pipit locally, still not seen it myself(or maybe I have and not noticed 😕)

I don't often visit the coast. I was told that water pipits are found in this area on the south coast but I'm not sure if I would know the difference as I have not seen one!
