i think it’s to keep people from server hopping and farming more materials in the window than should be possible, but i know the pain 🥲 i’ve been on aether for raiding and i just want to gather in PEACE

...that makes sense ! i feel like some of the nodes are only up for such a short period that it seems like a waste of time....but i suppose i can understand it
It's a short window, but with the proper specs and internet speeds, it can be done, which would make it so that the better your pc (money), the more mats you can get for free, and the team didn't want that to be the case.
