Ha, my favorite Q! I LOVE the idea of USL challenging MLS, tho note that *no other country in the world* has two D1 leagues. Normally the federation (in this case, US Soccer) would step in and "christen" the ladder-system and make sure the leagues are doing their jobs as "containers for clubs"...
