I achieved this by copy and pasting portions of the data when brought into Audacity. I played around with it to get something I really liked. Here are some other attempts

I also played around with changing the tempo of the image. When I saw the result, I kept tinkering until I found the section of the data on the timeline that that was just the sign, which gave me this result that I love:

This was the result of using the "reverse" function in audacity. Not my favorite effect, but it's trippy!

You can also combine effects and copy and paste data from one file onto another! The first image was the result of bringing in data from the tempo shifted picture and place the data on the timeline of a different version of the file. The second is putting data from two different files together.

In this image, I adjusted the pitch of the data in Audacity. You can do that across the entire timeline or just a specific section.
