This is my first Bluesky post about ENIGMA-U so a bit of background - ENIGMA-U is a free online course on neuroimaging 🧠 and neuropsychology geared toward advanced HS/entry-level college/uni students that provides a broad foundation to enable students to pursue addtl coursework and lab opportunities

The goal is to reach students who might otherwise struggle to find mentorship in these areas, particularly those from historically excluded groups. The full course is ~75% complete with 53 hours of lectures finished (neuroimaging module launching very soon!). Students who complete the formal course will receive a completion certificate detailing lecture hours and quiz performance that could be included with a resume.

Enrollment in the formal course is currently capped until we receive sustainable funding bc we pay a small fee per student, but I frequently clear out inactive accounts to make room for new ones. Fingers crossed 🤞 one of our next grants is funded so we can accommodate more students soon.

Lectures have been created by an astounding 69 volunteer lecturers from 41 institutions across 11 countries. And yes there are still opportunities to help if you want to be involved 😄 , just reach out! 💯💯💯💯💯 thank yous to everyone who has contributed so far
