They are also not to use it for classified info. This is not a difficult concept.

It is a difficult concept. Senators communication should not be private from the public. And disappearing chats are antithetical with FOIA requests.

They should not be allowed to auto-delete and should be archived. But not all info should be provided to the public (e.g., classified briefings done in a SCIF).
