This is the Long Cövid Variant.
It was a single point mutation ->JN1 which swept all before it.
i just remember early days of only one or two Pirola sequences popping up in many countries seemed so weird to me and here we are.😮💨
I wish we had more accurate long covid counts to see how that's changed.
The vast immune-evasiveness of JN1 and it's kids is totally next level. KP 2&3 then XEC and so forth. Little protection from prior infection. This is the "Happy Place" for this virus.
And it's nowhere near done.
That's my fear, especially if long covid keeps lowering the amount of population immunity that can be attained through infection. :/
