6. It's a shame the kindle cover is b&w as it has a very pretty cover, book 6 is Snow globe by Soyoung Park. The dystopian reality-tv premise is brilliant, though I didn't find the plot quite lived up to TT. Will definitely be reading book 2 in the duology

7. Book 2 of Diana Wynne Jones' Dalemark Quartet, The Spellcoats. I'm re-reading along with the brillant @eightdaysofdiana.bsky.social podcast, discussing every DWJ book in chronological order. Highly recommend (this and all the many DWJ episodes of The Dragon Babies podcast)!

9. Book 9 was High Vaultage, an impulse buy (look at that great cover!). A fun and funny detective romp, the thing I liked best was the gaslamp steampunk world, so v happy to find out it's based on a podcast series called Victoriocity
