Well the state of Maine needs a new senator and yes they can actually do that and not have to wait for an election it's called a recall file the petition get the signatures and have her ass removed you can have an emergency election for her replacement

Any state can do it you just might have to look into it as far as does the governor pick a replacement or do the people get to pick the replacement but either way you can still have any rep removed be there a senator a governor it doesnt matter they're all subject to that and it's by law federal law
