Idc if im boring. I don’t think it’s ok to abuse animals for art. There were other ways to achieve the same effect without confining a living animal to a small space and shaking it around.

Ok so here’s my thing like I completely 100% agree right… but feeder fish genuinely don’t live long at all. They are not pets they are not for human consumption they are born to die or be eaten by other animals. Those same fish could have easily been floating in the tank the next day in the pet shop

The thing is they can live long. 15+ years with proper care. There’s a difference between killing an animal for a food source, which is seconds of suffering, and necessary for other animals to live, vs doing it for entertainment, which is a longer period of suffering and unnecessary

Boots though. I have three tanks and agree bowls are abusive as most don’t have filters or a way to have a bubble source and since they don’t have flat ends can’t hold a water heater. Like I want you to know I 100% know where you are coming from and your feelings are valid. It was cunt to me tho.

Idk the butterflies made me sad and it just bothered me to think about how every time she took a step the fish must have been getting bounced around with the water sloshing and knocked against the sides of the shoe/hurt/stunned. Sure feeder fish are cheap but they're still living creatures
