Thanks so much Helen! I met a bunch of other photographers there who told me they were a lot less active yesterday (It was gray and very windy at times) so I was really excited to a few shots at least. Hope they cooperate for you soon. 😁

Thanks Julia... Where I normally go the ground has been waterlogged and also had cattle grazing so I'm thinking there isn't sufficient food for the owls so they have moved on. I will need to find another spot! 😊

Oh yes! Same for me too last week -7° at some points, but it meant they were flying a bit more during the time around mid day than usual. Maybe to warm up 😆. Those eyes are simply beautiful- and they’re one of the prettier owls in my opinion.
