Hey everyone! I'm brainstorming games that have extra set up before you play the 1st time - like building components/putting together tuck boxes/stickering meeples... I'm sure I'm missing some so... can you think of any? Thanks! (and yes, this is for my next video)
Comments
- Colt Express: the trains and scenery.
- Diamant / Incan Gold: the player treasure chests.
- Sky Team: the plane consoles.
And in lots of 18xx games you have to (get to) sticker the tokens first.
(Burdensome setup or relaxing mindfulness activity... you decide.)
You probably have most of these already. Gargoyles, Praga, potion explosion, amerigo, wallenstein, el grande, camel up, reykholt, council of four, loop, ulm
But Beverage has you assembling drink machines. And there's one that came out recently you had to assemble "control consoles" and I almost burned the game trying to put them together... shoot can't remember the name.
It took me several days to put all that stickers to the animal meeples from The Complete Collection of Everdell 😵
Voidfall - assembling the resource dials
Praga Caput Regni - assembling the 'bleachers'
Black Forest - stickering the resource tokens
