That seems high. I believe it’s 60% on some type of govt provided health insurance that include Medicare Medicaid VA and govt employees

The hospital in our county closed in 2023. This was several years after it was purchased by UPMC. It did not take them long to close it. They kept the emergency room open & send patients 30 miles to a hospital in another county. We now have to travel 30 to 40 miles for care that was available here.

To be honest, at this point, I’m kind of looking forward to it. Even my own ignorant ass family who depends on these programs. I’m looking forward to them suffering. They had a hand in this they can lay in it.

My father-in-law would die quickly, because kidney conditions are covered by Medicaid. You only get about 3 days without dialysis and I'm not sure about the people with organ transplants.
